While it is Dr. Schach's philosophy to postpone active treatment on children until the most optimum time; occasionally space issues, habits, and functional problems develop and need to be addressed early to minimize future problems. Complimentary screenings are always available and can identify these issues or provide parents valuable "peace of mind". Referral by the family dentist is not required. Patients to almost any age can benefit from the various treatment options available. Today, more than ever, adult orthodontic treatment is very popular, with over 20% of orthodontic patients in America being adults.
